Inspiring Futures

 

The Inspiring Futures research conference was held at the Institute of Criminology on September 29th 2023. It was well-attended by professionals, academics and policy advisors with an interest in the arts in criminal justice settings. The day included presentations on the findings from the project and responses from leading practitioners and academics in the field of arts and criminal justice. Inspiring Futures is a 3-year research project investigating the impact and meaning of arts projects in the criminal justice system. It is an independent research project, embedded into the Inspiring Futures programme run by the National Criminal Justice Arts Alliance, investigating the work of a number of arts partner organisations. It is funded by the ESRC.
